Classes Description
Hatha Yoga
A traditional Hatha Yoga class designed to build awareness of your whole body while calming the mind. After a short warm-up of dynamic asanas, each pose is held for 20–30 seconds, combining stretch, strength, and balance for a complete practice. Every class includes a touch of pranayama, relaxation, and meditation, with a steady focus on body and breath awareness throughout.
Gentle Flow
A beginner-friendly yet dynamic Yoga flow where each asana transitions smoothly into the next. Guided through a few rounds of Sun Salutations, you’ll build flexibility, strength, and stamina through mindful, steady movements. Each session ends with gentle tension-release exercises and a well-deserved relaxation.
Yoga, Pranayama & Meditation
A balanced Yoga, Pranayama, and Meditation class, combining the three pillars of traditional Yoga. Each session dedicates about a third of the time to every practice—beginning with asanas to awaken the body, followed by pranayama to calm the breath, and finishing with meditation to quiet the mind and deepen inner awareness.
Vinyasa Flow
Derived from Ashtanga Yoga, Vinyasa Flow is a dynamic Yoga practice that connects breath with movement. It features a creative sequence of asanas performed in a smooth, continuous flow. This energetic class builds fitness, strength, and stamina while emphasising mindful transitions between postures.
Kundalini Yoga
Known as the “Yoga of Awareness,” Kundalini Yoga is a powerful traditional practice that combines dynamic postures with pranayama, mudra, mantra, and meditation to support spiritual and energetic balance. This sacred combination enhances the flow of prana throughout the body and helps awaken Kundalini—the dormant life force within.
Amerta
Sound
Meditation
Amerta Sound Meditation is rooted in the belief that all life is energy and vibration. Amerta means “nectar” in Javanese, and this journey blends Tibetan singing bowls, ancient instruments, vocal toning, and sacred Javanese mantra chanting. Led by acclaimed sound healer Galih Naga Seno and his wife Irma, it offers a deeply immersive healing experience.
Sound Healing
In this Sound Healing session, you begin by setting an intention, then simply let your body absorb the vibrations of Tibetan singing bowls as your subconscious guides the healing process. This deeply relaxing and transformative experience promotes emotional balance, inner harmony, and a lasting sense of rejuvenation.
Yoga Nidra
A deeply restorative guided meditation practice, made popular by Swami Satyananda. Yoga Nidra (“Sleep Yoga”) guides you through gentle concentration and visualisation exercises while lying comfortably on your mat. This profoundly relaxing practice helps the brain enter a theta-wave state, calming the nervous system and releasing emotional tension.
Meditation
Whether mindfulness or focused meditation, this 30-minute add-on to our morning Yoga classes is a great way to support your mental well-being. These guided meditations are beginner-friendly and an effective way to improve concentration, focus, memory, and decision-making, while reducing stress and anxiety.
Kids Yoga
Our Kids Yoga and Meditation classes are tailored to each age group, making practice both fun and beneficial for body and mind. Beyond physical strength and flexibility, Yoga for children enhances self-awareness, relaxation, and focus on the present moment. The Bahasa class is our gift to the local community and is FREE for Balinese children.

Meet your teachers
Following 20 years of travelling the world and living between England, India, and Australia, Simon shifted his Yoga journey from his French national championship gymnast background to a deeper focus on traditional practice, integrating the mental and spiritual aspects of Yoga with its physical discipline. He completed a one-year Postgraduate Diploma in Yoga Education at the prestigious Kaivalyadhama College in India, ranking second out of 58 students, and is now finishing his Master’s degree in Yoga and Naturopathy.
Simon taught traditional Hatha Yoga classes and workshops daily for eight years in London and Sydney, often guiding more than 150 students a week. Although he enjoys leading classic asana classes, he specialises in pranayama and deep meditation courses. Passionate about sharing authentic yogic knowledge, he founded SKY Yoga & Meditation in Ubud, Bali, to inspire students to understand, practise, and transform themselves through genuine traditional Yoga.
Marlen is an E-RYT Yoga teacher with over 1,200 hours of professional Yoga training. She has studied a wide range of Yoga styles including Hatha Yoga, Ashtanga, Vinyasa, and Yin Yoga, and has developed a strong interest in modern techniques such as myofascial release, lymphatic drainage, and nervous system regulation. Her passion lies in bridging modern movement science with traditional Yoga practices to guide students toward deeper embodiment and transformation.
A dedicated and inspiring instructor, Marlen designs her classes to be engaging, transformative, and memorable for every participant. She is also a Yoga Trainer for 200-hour and 300-hour Teacher Trainings in Bali, specialising in asana lab, anatomy, alignment, and teaching methodology. In addition, she loves sharing Yoga with children—creating fun, dynamic classes that draw from her background in gymnastics, ballet, and dance, where she competed at a national level.
Galih Naga Seno is a gifted Sound and Energy Healer with an MA in Ethnomusicology from the Arts Institute of Surakarta. For over 24 years, he has explored the healing power of sound through energy-cleansing sessions while continuing to lecture at various universities across Indonesia. Together with his partner Irma, Galih brings forward deeply rooted ancient knowledge and experience in using sound as medicine.
His Amerta Sound Meditation in Ubud, Bali, is grounded in the understanding that every element of life carries energy and vibration. Amerta means “nectar” in Javanese, and this immersive experience blends Tibetan singing bowls, ancient instruments, vocal toning, and sacred Javanese mantra chanting for powerful healing and inner transformation.
Made is a Balinese Yoga Instructor and Healing Practitioner who transitioned into holistic wellness under the guidance of Mr. Ida Rsi Putra at the Gandhi Puri Ashram in Bali. He is currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Yoga and Health at I Gusti Bagus Sugriwa University and holds certifications from Yogmantra School Bali (200-hour) and Sattva Yoga Academy in India (500-hour TTC).
After completing specialised trainings in Kundalini Yoga and Sound Healing, Made advanced his career at the Vivekananda Yoga Sanstha Institute as Director and Yoga Trainer, where he developed programs, retreats, and Yoga Teacher Trainings. Since then, he has taught at several renowned resorts and studios across Bali. His accomplishments include placing 3rd at the World Asian Yogasana Sports Championship, receiving the Asian Diamond International Award (2022), serving as President of BYSF Indonesia (2023), and being honoured as Brand Ambassador of the Year 2023 by the Universal Yoga Sports Federation.
Ayuni comes from the traditional village of Banyupoh in northwest Bali, an area known for its sacred temples such as Melanting, Pulaki, and Pabean. She worked in hospitality management for many years before joining the popular Ubud Yoga centre House of Om, where she discovered her passion for Yoga. After serving as Yoga Studio Manager at SKY Yoga & Meditation in Ubud, Ayuni became the first participant in SKY’s local sponsorship program, which offers 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training to Balinese students.
Since graduating, she has been joyfully sharing her skills and enthusiasm by teaching Kids Yoga classes in Bali, inspiring young learners through mindful movement and play.
Dharma is a Balinese Yoga teacher who graduated from Gusti Bagus Sugriwa State Hindu University in Denpasar with a Bachelor’s degree in Yoga and Health. He is an active member of the National Yoga Asana Competition Committee and currently trains young students for the SDN 17 Dauh Puri Yoga competition in Bali.
With a deep interest in Watukaru Traditional Yoga—an ancient Balinese practice that cultivates spiritual growth through chanting, meditation, and physical postures—Dharma integrates this wisdom into his classes. His Hatha Yoga teaching in Bali focuses on the lymphatic system, body balance, and core strength to promote overall health and healing.
Amelie worked as a communication manager for a co-operative in France before spending five years with a contemporary circus company. She moved to Bali in 2019 and became a Kundalini Yoga teacher in 2020, after practising since 2014. Deeply connected to chanting mantras—the heart of Kundalini Yoga—she continues to explore the infinite diversity of kriyas and their transformative power.
For Amelie, Kundalini Yoga in Bali is a tool for conscious living: a way to quiet the mind, reconnect with the body’s energy, and experience something greater than ourselves. She teaches free from dogma, guiding students through the direct experience of universal consciousness that flows through every practice.
