SKY Yoga & Meditation was created with the mission to bring traditional Hatha Yoga Teacher Trainings from India to Bali.
Our 300h Yoga & Meditation Teacher Training focuses on deepening your existing Yoga knowledge and boosting your confidence in teaching authentic Yoga classes.
300-Hour Yoga Teacher Training Overview
This 31-day (30-night) 300-hour Advanced Yoga Teacher Training in Bali is designed for yogis who have already completed a 200-hour YTT and are ready to deepen their knowledge and elevate their teaching practice. You’ll receive our 300-hour training manual upon arrival, along with the 200-hour manual beforehand to support important revisions.
Firmly rooted in the Hatha Yoga tradition, this advanced course builds on the foundation of the 200-hour program. Aside from a short review at the beginning, it is filled with entirely new teachings and practices. You’ll explore the Patanjali Yoga Sutras in greater depth, revisiting chapters I and II while diving into chapters III and IV, along with a detailed study of the Hatha Yoga Pradipika and key teachings from the Gheranda Samhita. The training also introduces Yoga Psychology and a foundational understanding of Ayurveda, the sister science of Yoga.
On the practical side, you’ll advance your skills with challenging asanas, new Pranayama techniques (with extended ratios and Kumbhaka control), and refined Shuddhi Kriyas. You’ll also deepen your meditation practice through Transcendental Meditation and a one-week Yoga Nidra immersion, preparing you to teach it confidently. Two silent days at the end of the third week invite you to experience the true transformative power of stillness and meditation.
Although the course is grounded in Hatha Yoga, you’ll also experience Ashtanga, Vinyasa, Yin, and Kundalini Yoga, giving you a well-rounded understanding of modern styles. Inspired by our experience at Kaivalyadhama, the world’s first Yoga institute to conduct scientific research over a century ago, we enrich our curriculum with academic studies, research articles, and traditional text references wherever possible.
To make your journey truly unique, we include optional activities such as two Sunday excursions, weekly Sound Baths, fasting practices for detox, and other mindful experiences. All are part of your course package yet remain optional—giving you the freedom to participate as you feel called.
Upon completion, you’re invited to stay an additional three days and nights for free, including accommodation and meals, to join our Sound Healing course in Bali, where you’ll learn to play Tibetan Singing Bowls and facilitate Sound Bath sessions.
You’ll also have the opportunity to take the Level 1 or Level 2 Yoga Certification Board (YCB) examination, organised by India’s Ministry of AYUSH, enabling you to become a Government-certified Yoga Teacher recognised by the Government of India.

Asana Lab
More than half of our 300-hour Advanced Yoga Teacher Training in Bali is dedicated to practical and hands-on tutorial sessions, an essential part of your advanced learning experience with us.
Our tutorial classes (Asana Lab and Meditation Lab) blend theory with immediate practice. In these sessions, you’ll learn how to perform advanced postures correctly, followed by real-time practice with personalised guidance and adjustments from your instructor. This is the perfect time to ask questions, refine your alignment, and take notes. The same structure applies to meditation, where each technique and its intended outcome are clearly explained before an experiential session to embody and understand it.
Practical classes, on the other hand, are purely about experience—no note-taking needed—allowing you to stay fully present in movement and breath. For the advanced meditation component, you’ll have one full hour of daily practice (compared to 30 minutes in the 200-hour YTT), as this training assumes some prior meditation experience. All levels are welcome, though beginners should be prepared for a more intensive meditative journey.
For Shuddhi Kriyas and Pranayama, you’ll engage in these cleansing and breathing practices each morning as part of our daily routine, while the corresponding theory is explored separately through the study of traditional Hatha Yoga texts.
Theory classes
Our theory classes in the 300-hour Yoga Teacher Training in Bali are carefully structured to deliver knowledge in a clear, engaging, and easy-to-absorb way. Each session is designed to help you understand complex concepts without feeling overwhelmed.
Every theory class includes three key components: a comprehensive lecture, an interactive tutorial activity, and dedicated Q&A time to clarify any questions. All lectures are provided in your printed training manual and shared digitally via WhatsApp at the end of each day for convenient study and review.
When impurity is destroyed through the practice of the limbs of Yoga, then the rise of spiritual knowledge culminates in awareness of reality
